Kuhnke FIO is a modular input/output terminal with an EtherCAT fieldbus connection. The terminal consists of various input/output modules used to connect process signals to a Bus Coupler or a controller. The EtherCAT protocol is maintained all the way to the last module.
When required, safety technology can be integrated into the system in the form of safety input/output modules.
The decentralized EtherCAT bus terminals can all be expanded modularly and are suitable for connecting sensors and actuators inside the enclosure.
The modules in the group are divided by function into digital and analog input/output, counter and encoder, stepper motor control, relay output and temperature measurement. There are also Bus Couplers and shield connection terminals that route the cable shield to the enclosure.
