Description
The Kuhnke FIO AI4 12 Bit / AO4 16 Bit analog module processes signals in the range 0/4 … 20 mA or 0 … +10 V on 4 input channels. The inputs are digitized and transferred to the main controller with electrical isolation.
In addition, it generates signals in the range 0/4 … 20/24 mA or -10/0 … +10 V on 4 output channels. The current or voltage is output with 16 bit resolution and is galvanically isolated from the process level. The output channels of the EtherCAT® terminal share a common ground potential with the 24 V DC supply.
The range of each channel can be configured individually in CODESYS via CoE. LEDs assigned to the terminals show the signal status of the channels. Thanks to channel-based configuration, the module variety within a system is reduced.
Features: 4 inputs, 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA / 0 … +10 V, 12 bit resolution; 4 analog outputs, 0/4 … 20/24 mA or -10/0 … +10 V, 16 bit resolution; PUSH-IN spring-cage terminal connection.
Applications
- Analog signal processing in the EtherCAT system
- Reading and outputting of current and voltage signals
- Reduction of module variety with channel-based configuration
- In-panel mounting
