Description
This module series combines many different I/O signals in a single intelligent module; it saves the limited space inside the cabinet and reduces the module variety needed in an EtherCAT® system. Under the FIO MIX system name, the modules complement the high-density and multifunction modules of the Kuhnke EtherCAT I/O family.
The Kuhnke FIO MIX 04 module offers 4 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs, each configurable for current and voltage, as well as 2 encoder interfaces for reading the signals of incremental (HTL/TTL) or absolute position encoders with SSI or EnDAT interface. Alternatively, 6 event counters can also be configured.
Configuration in CODESYS is done via modules plugged into the corresponding slots. Each slot represents an analog channel or an encoder interface. This method is based on the EtherCAT Modular Device Profile.
Integrated functions: functions selectable using CODESYS V3 libraries; signal preprocessing on the module; customer-specific adaptation possible.
