HMI Panel

Kendrion Vico operator panels are embedded visualization systems designed for machine operation. They are offered in different screen sizes and resolutions and can optionally be equipped with multi-touch capability. They are more cost-effective than using an industrial PC and combine CODESYS-compatible controllers with a graphical operator interface.

Vico HMI — CODESYS HMI panel. The visualization program runs on the panel itself. The panel connects to multiple CODESYS-compatible controllers simultaneously over Ethernet; a separate variable mapping can be configured for each controller. The visualization environment is part of the CODESYS Development System, so no additional license fee is incurred. Process data from CODESYS V2.3 and V3 controllers is supported. The visualization requires no processor power from the connected PLC and needs no change to the controller's program.

Vico WEB — web terminal. An HTML5-capable browser runs on the panel; the visualization is retrieved from the connected PLC's web server. Connection to multiple CODESYS-compatible controllers is established over the HTTP protocol using CODESYS WebVisu. No additional license fee is incurred. It supports all functions of CODESYS web visualization and is suitable for extending and modernizing existing installations.

The models differ in screen size, touch type and housing material.
