Description

The Kuhnke FIO Counter module counts binary pulses and transfers the counter values to the main controller with electrical isolation. The module has 2 counters. It can operate as an A-B-Ref or an up/down counter. It is possible to switch between single and multiple evaluation of the encoder signals. In normal operation the digital inputs and output can be used as digital I/O, together with control and status indication via the bus. With a suitable configuration, the output can also be controlled depending on a counter. In addition, the input signals can be used to clear, start or freeze the counter values.
