Description
The analog Kuhnke FIO module AI4-PT/NI/Thermo contains up to 4 individually programmable inputs. Configuration is done via the process image. The temperature inputs allow direct connection of resistive sensors and thermocouples. A microprocessor performs linearization across the entire temperature range. For special requirements regarding the temperature range, customer-specific definitions can be provided on request. All inputs are digitized with 16 bit resolution and transferred to the main controller with electrical isolation. The signal status of each channel is shown by LEDs assigned to the terminals. Channel-based configuration can significantly reduce the module variety within a system.
Highlights: 4 individually configurable temperature inputs · Sensor types: PT100, PT1000, NI100, NI1000, type J and K thermocouples · 16 bit resolution
