Kuhnke servo drives are offered in two series. The ARS series works in the 10-60 A rated output current range with a 3 x 230…480 VAC supply; the 60 A model is water-cooled. The BL (smartServo) series is in the 2-60 A range and is used with a single-phase or three-phase supply depending on the model. The decentralized BL-M.D series moves the drive onto the motor.
The drives integrate positioning, motion program and chaining, flying saw, electronic gearing and synchronization, cam disk, linear motor drive, rotary table modes and switching cam functions.
On the safety side there are STO, SS1, SOS, SS2, SLS, SSR, SBC, SSM and SDI functions.
The communication interfaces are CANopen, Ethernet, EtherCAT and PROFINET; the ARS series also has PROFIBUS. The encoder interfaces are EnDat 2.2, HIPERFACE, HIPERFACE DSL, incremental encoder and resolver; the BL…C models additionally support FA-CODER.
