Description
Pulse-type motion controller
The FL7 series PLC is designed for complex machine automation and multi-axis motion control applications. Thanks to its built-in high-speed pulse input/output capabilities, it supports various interpolation and electronic cam algorithms.
Object-oriented programming
FL7 is designed with an object-oriented programming approach and complies with the IEC 61131-3 standard. It supports ladder diagram (LD) and structured text (ST) languages; its motion control functions meet the PLCopen specification. The object-oriented, task-based structure increases the reusability of the program.
System architecture and expansion
Up to 16 expansion modules can be attached on the right side of the CPU and 1 IoT expansion module on the left side. Expansion module types: digital input, digital output, digital input/output, analog input, analog output and temperature sensor input modules.
⚠️ The number of modules a CPU can carry varies according to the type and power consumption of the attached modules; the upper limit is 16.
The FL7 and FL8 series use the same expansion modules.
High-speed counter and pulse output
The built-in 8-point high-speed counter supports A/B phase counting, pulse/direction counting and single/dual phase counting modes. The counting frequency reaches up to 200 kHz in single phase, 200 kHz in pulse/direction mode and 100 kHz in A/B phase.
The pulse output operates in pulse + direction mode; up to 200 kHz on NPN output. The current is 0.1 A on the high-speed output and 0.5 A on the normal output.
Real-time clock
All FL7 models have a built-in RTC. Even after the external supply is cut, it continues to run for one year on the internal power source.
Model list
The tables above show the 6 models in the Turkey list in two sections grouped by series; each section opens and closes separately. FL721S does not accept expansion and has a single serial port; FL721 takes 16 modules on the right and has two serial ports. You can request a quote for configurations not in the list.
