Description
The Safety PLC is a safety PLC developed for use in EtherCAT-based automation systems. It meets the requirements of IEC 61508 up to SIL3 level and the requirements of DIN EN ISO 13849 up to Performance Level e.
Programming is done centrally via the main control system with CODESYS 3.5 SP16 or higher. Communication takes place via EtherCAT.
The integrated EtherCAT out allows external EtherCAT participants and other FSoE participants to be connected directly; it supports the modular design of safety-related systems.
In case of service, fast device replacement is supported by the SD card. The integrated floating point unit (FPU) enables powerful calculations even in complex safety functions.
