Description
The passively cooled, rugged FIO Controller 328 is equipped with a powerful quad-core ARM Cortex A72 processor. Its large memory capacity, including persistent data, is suited to CODESYS PLC applications. USB 3.0 interfaces allow the use of removable storage media or external peripherals.
Data exchange with other systems can be performed over the built-in Industrial Ethernet interfaces via EtherCAT or Modbus TCP. Alternatively, OPC UA can be used as the IOT protocol.
The controller is flexibly expanded via the E-Bus connection on its side with Kuhnke FIO series EtherCAT I/O modules. Additional decentralized EtherCAT SubDevice devices are connected directly to the EtherCAT OUT port of the 328 controller.
