Description
The Kuhnke FIO Controller 116 CNC is an i.MX6-based control unit with a built-in CODESYS PLC. In addition to the POUs within CODESYS SoftMotion, CODESYS SoftMotion CNC provides POUs for CNC functions, various kinematic transformations, their associated visualization templates, and the robotics axis-group editor.
It can exchange data with other systems over Industrial Ethernet and RS-232. A built-in SD card slot and USB interface allow process data to be stored locally. An interrupt input enables the fastest possible response to specific process events.
Its mechanical properties and form factor are compatible with the FIO I/O modules; the modules are added directly side by side to form a mechanically and electrically integrated unit. When an additional expansion module is used, control of remote EtherCAT SubDevice devices is also possible.
