Description
Kendrion’s Kuhnke FIO Stepper Control module allows control of 3 axes with up to 16 microsteps. For each motor it provides 2 outputs for the A and B motor phases, 1 brake output, 1 input for a reference switch, 2 inputs for limit switches, and a motor supply in the 12 – 48 V DC voltage range. The motor is conveniently configured over CAN over EtherCAT (CoE). Using the Stepper Control module, 3-axis portal systems can be controlled with a single module. The Stepper Control module is the cost-optimized alternative to the function-optimized FIO Drive Control module.
Highlights: control of 3 stepper motors including brakes and limit switches; expandable with all Kuhnke FIO modules; motion commands compliant with DS402.
