Description

Kuhnke FIO is a system of I/O modules for interconnecting process signals in an EtherCAT network. It consists of a bus coupler and a series of I/O modules. The bus coupler converts the physical transmission technology (twisted pair) to LVDS (E-bus) and generates the system voltages required by the LVDS modules. On one side, the standard 100 Base Tx lines used in office network communication are connected.

Highlights: 2 x RJ45 sockets; 2 A electronic supply for FIO expansion modules; 16 digital inputs with 1 ms input filter for 24 V DC; 16 short-circuit-protected outputs with an output current of up to 0.5 A; status indication locally assigned to the terminal point.
