Description
The rugged, passively cooled FIO Controller 328 is equipped with a powerful quad-core ARM Cortex A72 processor. Its large memory capacity, including retentive data, is suitable for CODESYS PLC applications.
Data exchange with other systems can be carried out via the integrated Industrial Ethernet interfaces using EtherCAT and Modbus, and on the serial side via CAN and RS-485. Alternatively, OPC UA can be used as an IoT protocol.
The controller is flexibly expanded with Kuhnke FIO series EtherCAT I/O modules via the E-Bus connection on the side. Additional decentralized EtherCAT devices are connected directly to the EtherCAT OUT port of the 328 controller.
