Description

The Kuhnke FIO Controller 116 is an i.MX6-based control unit with an integrated CODESYS PLC. It can exchange data with other systems via Industrial Ethernet and RS-232. An integrated SD card slot and USB interface allow process data to be stored locally. An interrupt input enables the fastest possible response to specific process events.

Its mechanical properties and form factor are compatible with the FIO I/O modules; the modules are added directly side by side to form a mechanically and electrically integrated unit. When an additional expansion module is used, control of remote EtherCAT devices is also possible. Thanks to its interfaces (Industrial Ethernet, RS-232, CAN) and the systems it supports, it is easily integrated into existing control concepts.
