Matched servo system — standard series (FV3S)

FV3S-R3 is a standard rotary servo system consisting of servo drives and servo motors matched to each other. Since the drive and motor are selected together, the wiring, encoder and brake connections are offered as a ready-made set. This page covers the pulse/direction (pulse) and Modbus version of the series.

Control and communication

The drive is controlled with pulse/direction (pulse) and Modbus RS485; a 500 kHz pulse input, 6 digital inputs / 4 digital outputs, encoder differential output and Z-phase pulse OC output are provided. For parameter setting, it offers a Type-C debug port and parameter upload/download via Bluetooth.

Motor and encoder

The motors feature a 17-bit multi-turn absolute encoder. The range is between 50 W and 1800 W; small motors have a 40–80 mm flange and 3000 rpm, large motors a 130 mm flange and 1500 rpm. Each power level is offered with two motor options, with brake and without brake (code suffix −230 without brake, −232 with brake).

Drive

Depending on the power, single-phase 220 V or three-phase 220 / 380 V supplied drives are used; a built-in 24 V source and external braking resistor are supported for control. One drive works with both the braked and non-braked motor of the same power.

The table below shows the 24 servo motors in the Turkey list (12 with brake + 12 without brake); each row gives the matched servo drive, the drive’s supply, motor cable and encoder cable for that motor together. The braked and non-braked motor of the same power share the same drive; the cables are 5 m. You can request a quote for configurations not in the list.
