Flexem FBox — cloud connectivity for industrial devices
FBox is an IoT gateway that connects manufacturers’ field devices to the cloud over the internet. It connects field devices such as PLCs, frequency inverters and measuring instruments to the FlexCloud server; it performs data collection, device monitoring, software update and fault alarm functions remotely. It reduces factory investment and accelerates industrial internet transformation.
Simple installation, easy use
You only need to connect the devices via Ethernet / GPRS / 3G / 4G; remote device management and data exchange are provided without local configuration.
Broad protocol and connectivity support
It supports hundreds of industrial device drivers (PLC, measuring instrument, inverter, etc.); it connects without the need for complex design. Rich connectivity options: RS232, RS485, RS422 and Ethernet.
Access from anywhere
It can be accessed via mobile application, web page and client; it meets mobile working needs. With open OPC support, higher-level software can be developed to establish connectivity with the Flexem cloud and data transmission.
Cloud storage and remote download
It supports uploading and exporting historical data to the cloud; with offline caching, no data is lost when the connection drops, and the transfer is completed when the connection returns. Remote program update and online monitoring can be performed for PLCs, reducing the need for site visits.
Secure and reliable
It provides a secure data environment with mechanisms such as access authentication, encrypted transmission, permission-based access, function authorization and secure sessions.
